Law - Cambridge

Our team here at the Law Society aims to create an ultimate safe and secure space for all young individuals to thrive and grow in! We believe that anyone can achieve their fullest potential in a supportive and welcoming environment!

All our activities this year are directed towards one aim - to support and encourage you in your career journeys - whether barrister or solicitor routes.

We are aiming to keep you updated of the talks, conferences, panels and other events which may be of interest to you, which will boost your general knowledge of law and commercial awareness.

We, as a Committee, are also keen to deliver regular events that will open the door to a wealth of information, advice and useful contacts, such as guest speaker events, talks and workshops, organised by the Society or in collaboration with the Faculty of Business and Law, Law School, Law Clinic and Employability Services.

The membership of a Law Society is also a valuable addition to your CV that will show the employers that you are not only actively involved with your course, but are also interested in further opportunities for personal and professional growth and development.

For all the non-law students

If you want to know more about the law and how it works in practice, if you want to show your employer that you are not only interested in what you are studying but also involved with other areas of practice, and if you merely want to expand your knowledge – join the Law Society!
