ABOUT US
ARU NHS is a society reaching out to all ARU students with an interest in healthcare and in gaining a greater insight into the working practices of healthcare professionals. We want to encourage skills exchange in order to provide a greater respect within the healthcare environment to deliver better quality care and learn new skills from the experts in each field.
OUR AIM
To be an inter-disciplinary society that provides all ARU students with educational opportunities and social events in order to encourage teamwork, and build professional understanding and relationships in an inclusive environment.
WE ORGANISE AND RUN THE EXTREMELY POPULAR 'PETS AS THERAPY' EVENTS ON CAMPUS!
For several years, our society has worked closely with Pets as Therapy - a nationwide mental health charity that enhances the health and wellbeing of thousands of people in communities across the UK - with dogs! If you'd like to know when the next PAT event is, please click the events tab on our society page, or head to our instagram!
