The ARU Sustainability Society presents: Save our World Day 2019!

The ARU Sustainability Society is excited to be hosting ‘Save our World’ day on the 27th of March at the Cambridge campus. The success of the Responsible Future audit demonstrated that students are growing more aware of global issues that are affecting the world.

Our society felt that hosting this event will not only increase student’s engagement about these growing concerns, it will also provide students with the necessary skills and knowledge to help them make a positive change. We have worked with university staff and experts from different fields to provide a range of activities such as talks, vegan food tasting, meditation, re-useable bag printing and a panel debate.

We hope that ‘Save our World’ day will raise awareness amongst staff and students about the importance of sustainability. This event aims to celebrate the wonders of the earth and encourage students to make the world a better place to live.

The full agenda will be announced soon - expect some brilliant guest speakers, some eye-opening activities and get ready to learn about how you can save our world.
