Come On In is a Union campaign to help students feel more confident and comfortable joining their classes.

It promotes a kind and welcoming classroom culture and reminds students thatattending and taking part in class is important for learning and success.

You will see posters around the campuses promoting this campaign with QR codes that direct to this page.

WHY WE STARTED

We know some students feel unsure about joining a class if they are late, or feel the class may not be worth attending.

This campaign is here to:

  • Remind students that every class is valuable
  • Encourage students to join even if they arrive a bit late
  • Support confidence, belonging and real engagement
  • Help reduce the “tap in and leave” habit by promoting meaningful participation

WHAT STUDENTS CAN DO

Whether you’re on time or running late you’re always welcome.

  • Try to attend your classes regularly.
  • If you are late, still come in — taking part is better than missing out.
  • Tap your student card when you arrive so your attendance is recorded.
  • Use the QR code on posters to return to this webpage for updates.
