Meet Your Officers

Meet Your Officers

Every year we elect two Vice Presidents to represent the student voice and act in the best interest of the student community.

Vice Presidents are at the top of the student representation tree and will run events, pass on feedback and work to improve the student experience. They are part time positions meaning they can be completed alongside studying.

Abu Shaikh. Vice President East India.

My name is Abu Shaikh. I am coming into my second year of my International Business Management course. I am very passionate about helping students and representing their interests, sharing information and making sure students get the support they need.

As a Vice President, my top 3 priorities for ARU London students across the next year are:

- Providing cheaper food options on campus for students.

- Providing wellness activities throughout the year including de-stress fest, while also working with wider services to improve mental health.

- Promoting and following good sustainable practices across campus.

Patricia Daniels. Vice President East India

My name is Patricia Daniels and I am entering my second year of study having completed my Health and Social Care foundation year. I am inspired to provide students with the best experience and support whilst studing here at ARU London. I am excited to look at ways to support students to develop key networks and have personal development opportunities throughout their time.

Some of my top priorities over the next year are:

- Building the community here at ARU London and providing plenty of opportunities for students to network with other students, staff and external organisations.

- Providing key and relevant information for all the services that students will need to know and can use during their time here to provide them with academic, personal and professional support.

- Looking to minimise costs to students who come and study with us here at ARU London.
