1st broomfield Scout Group is part of the UK's biggest mixed youth organisation. They offer 6-14 year olds the chance to have fun, take part in challenging activities, unique experiences, every day adventure and the chance to help others so that they make a positive impact in communities. Scouts help children and young adults to reach their full potential. Scouts develop skills in teamwork, time management, planning, self motivation and cultural awareness. They help young people to get jobs, save lives and change the world.

  • Scout Group Section Assistants - For Cubs aged 8-11 years

    This opportunity is ongoing, with no end date.

    Section Assistants help the groups Section Leaders to deliver the Scouting programme to its young members. This will include running games and activities as part of the weekly section meetings and other extra events. Assisting the Scouts to achieve badges and awards. Assisting with residential experiences for the section and also helping with the wide variety of events and activities offered to the group.The group meets on a Wednesday 6.45pm - 8.15pm.There are also opportunities for you to join in with the groups Scouts ages 11-14 years and the Beavers ages 6-8 years. If you are interested in these age groups we can put you in touch with the relevant groups in the same area.
