Sanctus is a vital charity which feeds the growing number of homeless, hungry and vulnerable individuals in our city. We run a free café offering breakfast, hot and cold drinks, snacks and a cooked homemade lunch. We are also able to help by offering 1:1 support and counselling, group sessions, training courses and a range of enrichment activities including a Book Club, Music Club and Allotment Project. Sanctus have a key team of invaluable volunteers ranging from students to trained service users, professionals and other members of the local community. We need people to help in a variety of front line services
Sanctus Volunteering Roles include:

Volunteer Café Assistant – Supporting in the homeless day centre, completing tasks such as food preparation, cooking, serving, washing up, cleaning and sorting donations.

Allotment Volunteer – Supporting at Sanctus’ local allotment, helping to maintain the site and grow fruit and vegetables which will be used in Sanctus’ café meals.

Food Collections Volunteer – Collecting food donations from local businesses and delivering them to the Sanctus café.

Charity shop volunteer - helping in our new charity shop, completing tasks such as replensishing rails with stock, customer service.
