Course Reps Society

The vision:

  1. Supportingfunding and promoting your ideas as course reps, e.g., booking rooms for feedback sessions, funding large social events such as a sports day and promoting course rep led events.

  2. The Course Rep society is a hub for all course reps to brainstorm and pursue the ideas that you believe will aid in bettering the university experience for all.

  3. Aid in providing career and academia boosting opportunities, i.e., multidisciplinary panels/ speakers, trips.

The Rep Society aims to enhance your learning experience, we plan to hold targeted feedback sessions for each course, complete with refreshments to create a welcoming atmosphere. Additionally, we hope to organise engaging social events, such as a sports day, to promote community spirit. We also hope to provide the opportunity for weekly feedback depending on participant numbers. This approach ensures everyone has a voice and feels like a valued member of our community, making for a richer experience for all. We aim to organise trips with the support of our staff to help reinforce and deepen our understanding of lecture content. These experiences will provide practical context for what we've learned, allowing us to connect theory with real-world applications.
