The Angel Health & Social Care society is searching for students who are interested in the world of health and social care. We believe there is a strong bond between spirituality and the willingness to help others through aspects such as social, health and mental care!

Our 3 main goals are to:

1) Gain further knowledge into the working life of healthcare professionals

2) Develop new skills relating to the healthcare environment

3) Deliver and attend social events that will build a closer community and improve our experience

 

By joining our society, you can expect…

-To gain further knowledge into the working life of the healthcare environment

-Develop new skills that will help within this field such as communication, time management, flexibility, critical thinking

-Look into the spiritual skills that will help within the world of health and social care such as empathy, open mindedness, selflessness and strong ethics

-Research studies that link spirituality and healthcare

-To learn more about the workings of local NHS Trusts, local authorities, GPS, and various voluntary and community groups

-Networking opportunities with healthcare professionals

-Collaboration with lecturers within this area

-Build positive relationships within social work
