ARMS is the Anglia Ruskin Medical Students society on campus, which is a hub for all students and not just medics! 

 

We aim to listen to our members and strive to create events based on the feedback received to ensure everyone enjoys the events we hold during the year. 

 

We organise a huge range of social, sporting and academic events. This year is very exciting as we are planning a huge range of new events and opportunities for everyone, this includes: 

 

  • Freshers/Welcome Week - full of inclusive social events as a chance to meet new peers
  • Our annual Med Ball and Halfway Ball Celebrations
  • Charity events such as bake sales and football tournaments
  • New sport teams and monthly sporting events
  • The return of the ARMS merchandise
  • Monthly drop in sessions - to allow younger years to get support with difficult topics from students in the older years
  • Both drinking and non-drinking socials - to allow everyone to find events that suit them
  • OSCE practice sessions - a chance to polish up your skills 
  • The debut of our new Summer Ball!

 

Purchasing a membership will give you access to discounted/free tickets to all of our events - trust us, it really does make the difference!

Everyone is welcome at ARMS, no matter your degree - it is a great way to meet a variety of students across the campus so if you are interested, please become a member!
