Proxy Vote

All core students at Anglia Ruskin University are able to attend and vote at the Annual General Meeting. If you are not able to attend you can appoint another person to do so on your behalf (a Proxy).

Proxy notices may specify how the proxy appointed under them is to vote.

By using the below poll:

I hereby appoint the Chair and President as my proxy and to vote on my behalf at the Annual General Meeting of ARU Students' Union to be held on 2nd May 2018.

Notes:

Appointment of a proxy does not preclude you from attending the meeting and voting in person.  If you have appointed a proxy and attend the meeting in person, your proxy appointment will automatically be terminated.

A proxy does not need to be a member of ARU Students’ Union but must attend the general meeting to represent you.  To appoint as your proxy a person other than the Chair and President, e-mail Megan Bennett at m.bennett@angliastudent.com

Where you appoint as your proxy someone other than the Chair and President, you are responsible for ensuring that they attend the general meeting and are aware of your voting intentions.  If you wish your proxy to make any comments on your behalf, you will need to appoint someone other than the Chair and President and give them the relevant instructions directly.

Your appointment must be recieved by no later than 12 Noon on Tuesday 1st May 2018.

Don't forget to let your friends know you've cast your vote!

If you do not wish to use the above poll, you may:

Email m.bennett@angliastudent.com from your student.anglia.ac.uk address to arrive no later than 12 Noon on Tuesday 1st May 2018. The email must include

  1. Your name
  2. Your student ID number
  3. The name of the person you wish to vote on your behalf at the meeting
You may also include instructions on how you wish that person to cast your vote on the Resolutions.
