We love the spooky season here at the SU. It’s that time of year where we wrap up warm, grab a spiced-pumpkin latte and settle in to watch a scary movie. And Halloween wouldn’t be the same without carving out our Jack-o’-lantern pumpkins and trick-or-treating to really bring the big kid out in us!
All Hallows Eve has been celebrated in the UK for hundreds of years, where the souls of the dead return to their homes. Bonfires were lit and people dressed up in costumes to ward off evil spirits.
To get into the spirit of Halloween, there will be plenty of events taking place across the campuses from pumpkin carving, trick-or-treating treasure hunts to fancy-dress parties.
