Jane Bousfield, Study Support Adviser and winner of the Professional Services Made a Difference Award shares her feelings on being nominated and winning the award.

It was truly wonderful to win the MAD award for Professional Services this year. I have been nominated before which was a real boost but this time winning it was a genuine surprise.

Such a show of recognition for my work means so much to me and my thanks go to my nominator for their kind words and for taking the time to put me forward at such a busy and stressful time for them. It is especially meaningful because I was up against some amazing colleagues who have actually made my job that bit easier by their support over the years and deserve it just as much as me.
