Hello everyone,

It brings me great joy to let you all know that the Global Week 2021 Event was an absolute success !

We have had the pleasure to plan and organize the Event alongside the Global Week Committee formed of 10 amazing students from all London campuses.

We have had 15 students featured in the Global Week promotional video saying “Hello” in 15 different languages, as well as 7 amazing submissions in our Food Festival Video Competition whereby our students shared with us tips and tricks on preparing their brilliant dishes. Their videos had an impressive number of 700 views on YouTube ! The winner, Saimir Hysa, who prepared a fabulous Carbonara dish, was presented with an amazing prize of his choice that’s already on the way to him. We also had an amazing Quiz Night where students had the opportunity to prove their international general knowledge and the winner was presented with a £20 Amazon Voucher.

We’ve had hundreds of students browsing our Global Week 2021 webpage which overall constitutes an impressive engagement from our students. I have issued and sent out 15 amazing Participation Certificates to all students that got involved, as a sign of my appreciation for their contribution, support and encouragement of our diverse Communities at ARU London.

Global Week 2021 proved to be an inspiring vibrant Event that was successful in bridging our London Student Communities. Once again I would like to thank all students for their involvement, Natalie, our amazing SU Coordinator for co-organizing the Event and the rest of the SU Team for their support and encouragement.
