Think Local, Act Global: An Earth Month Event Series - Mapping Chalk Streams & Sustainability

Join us for the second event in our Think Local, Act Global Earth Month series!

This special session features guest speakers Jenna Ashford from the Environment Agency and Sarah Teasel from the Lincolnshire Chalk Stream Project. Together, they will share insights on monitoring and enhancing our understanding of chalk streams in Lincolnshire. The talk will highlight ongoing projects, the importance of these unique habitats, and touch on opportunities where communities and individuals can support their protection.

Following this, we’ll continue exploring Action Atlas, our interactive geotag map. You'll have the opportunity to learn how to log your sustainable actions, adding your personal contributions to our growing community map.

This event series is brought to you in collaboration with ARU Cambridge Sustainability Society and the Group for Environmental Management and Sustainability (GEMS) at ARU Peterborough. Join us to learn more about your local environment and discover how your actions make a difference globally!

All are welcome—no prior experience required.
