Step into the heart of India at with a Taste of India on Wednesday 26 March for a vibrant celebration of Indian culture! This exciting event brings the sights, sounds, and flavors of India right to your doorstep. From mouthwatering dishes to electrifying performances, come experience a night full of color, energy, and tradition. Whether you're familiar with Indian culture or discovering it for the first time, there’s something for everyone to enjoy. Prepare to be entertained, delighted, and immersed in an unforgettable cultural extravaganza!
Your itinerary for the evening:
- Entry from 15:00 - Ticket checks and wristbands will be distributed until 16:00.
- Fun Games from 16:00 - Get in the spirit of Indian festivals with fun and interactive games for everyone!
- Fashion Showcase from 17:00 - Witness stunning traditional and modern Indian fashion with a captivating runway show.
- Talent Show starts at 17:30 - Be dazzled by the incredible talents of local performers, showcasing everything from music to magic in a true celebration of Indian artistry.
- Food of India from 18:30 - Indulge in a wide array of authentic Indian cuisine, from savoury street food to rich traditional dishes.
- Traditional Music & Dance from 19:00 - Enjoy energetic and colourful dance performances to a rich diversity of Indian music (you'll be given a food token to claim your food)

It is likely that at ARU Students' Union events photography or filming will take place. At all ticketed events by purchase of the ticket you agree that you are happy for any video footage, stills or photographs taken during the event to be used on ARU Students' Union's online platforms or in print to publicise ARU Students' Union for commercial and fundraising purposes including, but not limited to, television broadcasts, advertising, publications, marketing material, personalised direct mail and other documents that may be made available to the public.
In the case of non-ticketed events, your attendance acts as agreement to the above. If you do not wish to be filmed the photographer/videographer should be informed at the start of the event.
