DOMESTIC ABUSE AWARENESS EVENT

  • Did you know that domestic abuse can affect anyone?
  • Would you know where to find help?

On 2nd October, join us for Breaking the Silence at ARU, an event dedicated to raising awareness about domestic abuse. The Art Against Abuse exhibition will feature powerful artwork that addresses the different forms of domestic abuse, creating a space for survivors, artists, and advocates to share their stories.

In addition to the exhibit, stalls from external charities will offer specialised support for diverse genders, sexualities, and cultural backgrounds. ARU’s on-campus support services will also be present to provide information on how to access help if you or someone you know is impacted by domestic abuse.

This event offers a safe environment to reflect, learn, and connect with essential support networks.

Let’s break the silence and build a community of empathy and support.
