I would like to nominate myself to be a year rep. I am a first year student and currently registered for the biomedical science course.I play badminton from School days and till now for the university . I was selected as a school rep during my higer secondary and have a great experience about the culture activity and drama clubs. And from my middle school i was constantly selected as the captain for the badminton sports team I was given the position of Secretary for three different sports, education and drama clubs Being in charge of all three societies I had to arrange many events, organise dates for meeting and communicate a lot with pupils to find out about their interests. I gained a lot of experience in many different areas like time management and communication skills. As a school prefect I was also in charge of the Computing and IT development of the school (from the student side). This required me putting forward pupils' suggestions and issues with the school's Internet policies, possible future developments etc. As the result of my hard work and commitment towards IT and Computing I was personally invited to give a talk at the Independent Professional Development about my IT project and IT at my school. These are just a few examples how seriously I take my responsibilities and the high standard which I set myself. I always worked hard to achieve the best possible result and I think these characteristics of mine make me to a suitable candidate for the position. I believe that I can act as a strong link between the students and the staff side.
