I’m Ankur Sharma, an MBA student and an active member of the Faculty of Business and Law (FBL), where I’ve led student engagement initiatives and collaborated with the Students’ Union on cross-faculty projects. This experience has given me a deep understanding of how the SU operates and the impact this role can have in shaping student life. Now, I’m ready to take it further—to be your voice and drive real change at ARU.

My Leadership Approach:

This role is not just about leadership—it’s about collaboration. I believe in Theory Y of Motivation, where students are co-creators of initiatives, rather than passive participants. Every decision I make with the SU and key stakeholders will be driven by your voices and needs. I also plan to introduce an annual faculty portfolio, outlining how students can actively contribute to shaping their academic and university experience.

I will also strengthen relationships between the Central ARU team, faculties, and the Students' Union, ensuring a seamless partnership that puts student interests first. By bridging these key areas, I will work to enhance communication, transparency, and decision-making, so that every student feels heard and supported.
