I am running for the position of Education Officer in the Anglia Ruskin University Students' Union Leadership Election 2025. Previously, I was elected as the Cultural Secretary in my college in India for the 2021-22 academic year, where I successfully led and managed various student initiatives. My experience in student leadership has given me a strong foundation to bring positive changes to ARU, ensuring that every student has the best possible academic experience. Education is the key to our success, and I am dedicated to making it more inclusive, student-oriented, and accessible. If elected, I will advocate for recorded lectures, better access to learning materials, and more transparent evaluation policies to help students achieve their highest potential.

A top priority of my campaign is to strengthen the academic representation system by working closely with student representatives to ensure they have the necessary resources to voice student concerns effectively. I will also schedule regular meetings with department heads and faculty members to stay updated on academic challenges and ensure that student perspectives are heard. Additionally, I will actively participate in university activities to engage with students and address their academic and welfare concerns. Improving communication between academic staff and students is crucial to ensure that feedback results in meaningful improvements. By promoting diverse course materials, fair assessments, and enhanced support for international and disabled students, I will work towards creating a more equitable learning environment.

My goal is to ensure that ARU students receive the best academic experience possible. With my leadership experience and dedication, I will work tirelessly to implement positive changes that benefit the entire student community. Strengthening the lines of communication between students and faculty, ensuring fairness in academic policies, and fostering an inclusive environment are at the heart of my campaign.
