JEENA THOMAS

I am honored to present my manifesto as a candidate for the position of Vice President in the upcoming Faculty of Health, Medicine, and Social Care election. As we stand at the intersection of innovation and education, I am committed to championing a vision that fosters growth, inclusivity, and excellence within our esteemed faculty.

My Vision:

To create a supportive and collaborative learning environment where every student's voice is valued and their academic experience is enhanced.

My Commitments:

1. Open and Honest Communication

Any academic institution's success depends on having clear and honest communication. In order to make sure that faculty members are updated on current events, policies, and opportunities within our faculty, I will set up regular lines of communication.

2. Student Support and Well-being:

Prioritizing the well-being of our students is paramount. I will work towards the establishment of comprehensive student support programs, ensuring that mental health services, career counseling, and academic assistance are readily available to all students.

3. Collaborative Leadership:

Collaboration between teachers, students, and administration is something I think should be encouraged. In the end, we can improve the academic experience by working together to establish an atmosphere that fosters interdisciplinary research and idea sharing.

4. Diversity and Inclusivity:

The diversity of our globe should be reflected in our faculty. In order to make sure that marginalised voices are acknowledged and heard, I am dedicated to supporting diversity and inclusion efforts. This will be accomplished by creating inclusive curricula and making focused recruitment efforts, conducting cultural events and competitions where students can represent their home country and culture they belong to.

Your support will be essential to bringing this vision to life. Let's set out on a path of revolutionary leadership and unshakable commitment to improving our faculty and the communities we serve as a team.

Warm Regards

Jeena Thomas
