Dear fellow students of Anglia Ruskin University,

I Ramendra Singh Chauhan from the School of faculty of business and law am thrilled to present my manifesto as I am standing as a vice president for the upcoming election for the student union 2024. I firmly believe that our student community has immense potential, and by working together, we can create a positive and impactful environment that caters to the needs and interests of every student of the faculty of business and law and the other students of ARU.

Being a part of Anglia Ruskin University for more than a year as a student of Faculty of business and Law, I have had immense opportunities provided by ARU temps and have managed to complete and prove myself in different roles over the time such as social media marketing representative, campus tour, graduate ambassador, general open day ambassador, welcome week ambassador, Chelmsford science festival ambassador, Faculty of Business and Law. Welcome week Ambassador and a lot more roles to add. Additionally, I have managed to keep track of my academic scores above distinction.  

I will strive to be strong advocate in the faculty of business and law for the student concerns, their ideas, and suggestions. I will actively seek feedback from all students of ARU and ensure that their voices are heard and considered in decision-making processes in organizing new events and providing timely help and concern with regard to different aspects around the university. Together, we can shape policies and initiatives that truly reflect the needs and aspirations of our diverse student body.

Education is the foundation of our journey, and I am dedicated to enhancing the academic support systems within ARU. Additionally, I will work towards organizing workshops, tutoring programs, and study groups to foster a culture of academic excellence and support.

The well-being of our students is of utmost importance. I will strive to create a nurturing environment that prioritizes mental health support. This includes advocating for increased access to counseling services, organizing stress management workshops, and promoting awareness campaigns to reduce stigma surrounding mental health. Together, we can create a community that supports and uplifts one another.

Our student community thrives when it embraces diversity and inclusivity. I will work tirelessly to ensure that every student feels valued and represented. This involves organizing cultural events, celebrating different traditions, and fostering dialogue on important social issues. I will also collaborate with student organizations to create safe spaces for underrepresented groups and promote equality and respect for all.

By electing me, you are entrusting me with the responsibility to be your voice and advocate for your needs. Together, we can build a stronger student union community that thrives on collaboration, inclusivity, and growth.
