We are running a consultation for the re-development of SU and student social space on campus.

How do you want your new SU spaces to be used?
Students have been asking for more 'social space' for a while now and it is finally happening! The university have kindly allocated a sum of money to developing and expanding the Students’ Union space along with some student social space! The sum of money is to be split between both the Cambridge and Chelmsford campus; so here is what we’re going to do…
Chelmsford
We have the opportunity to reinvigorate the first floor of the Tindal building, currently the space of the SU offices and the Student Lounge. We are also in conversation about re-vamping the ground floor, but that is a little more complicated so we will update in due course!

Cambridge
We are relocating our SU office from Helmore to the ground floor of Peter Taylor House. This will allow for the SU space to grow significantly in size, which means we can co-locate alongside student social space (finally!)

What we will be doing with your feedback…
The results of this survey will determine the use of each of the spaces. This will include the different types of furniture and overall feng-shui.
Alongside gathering feedback through this survey we will be holding focus groups on both the Chelmsford and Cambridge campuses which will give you the opportunity to give us slightly more detailed feedback and have open conversations. These will be on the following days:
