You wanted electronic submission of assignments to be your priority campaign for 2009-10, as voted on in this year’s opinion poll, so here it is!

 The aim of the electronic submission campaign is to push electronic submission to the top of the Universities agenda and project list. They need to stop living in the stone ages and allow students the choice to use everyday technology to submit assignments and course work!

 Over the next couple of weeks we will be investigating the possibility of e-submission, the advantages and disadvantages from both a student an lecturer point of view, where the University are with plans for e-submission and what there stance is on this project.

 As well as the accessibility advantages that e-submission presents us with the Union have also recognised that e-submission would have a great environmental impact so we will be working out the carbon footprint you create when you hand in one of your assignments!

 Watch out for the e-campaign on social networking sites and keep checking this page to see our discoveries and find out new ways in which you can get involved with this campaign.
